Meagan Good was born in Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle managed her when she was in her teens. The actress was raised by her three siblings at home in Canyon Country in California and started her acting career at when she was just four years old. She began her acting career by working as an actor on TV in the early age. When she was 13 in 1995, she got her first role in the first feature film Friday. She played Cisely her troubled teenager In Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her attention. The film got two nominations as well as her first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominee. Good began with small role in TV and films for a few years, and then moved into mature roles by the beginning 2000s.
