Angela Sun is a journalist sportscaster, documentary filmmaker and television host. Angela Sun has been a Journalist, Sportscaster, Producer and Actor since she was born in Santa Clara County California on the 19th of October. She received a Bachelor's Degree in sociology and communication at the University of California. Sun had exceptional surfing skills and was a participant in numerous professional-am events that lead to sponsorship from large brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans etc. The attention she received due to this fact was like a slingshot to propel her into the world of entertainment. Later she worked as an actor, sportscaster, investigational filmmaker, journalist and reporter. Sun was an anchor for a variety of news outlets, but mostly as an anchor. In 2003, Sun worked as an Fox Sports Net reporter. She was host of American Ninja Warrior along with Matt Iseman in 2012. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. Sun was the very first Asian American to have her name featured as a host on ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports, Tennis Channel and Yahoo Sports. Sun has appeared in a variety of movies and received not only praise but also fame for her acting skills. Sun has appeared in films like Goliath (2016) Hit the Floor ( 2014- 2016) A Perfect Getaway ( 2009) Shackled (2005) Street Kings (2008) and Glowsticks and Drumsticks (2004). In 2014 Sun launched Platic Paradise: The Great Pacific Garbage Patch the film of a feature length about the plastic pollution in the oceans and how it affects the natural environment.
