Angela Sun is an American journalist, presenter on television and sportscaster as well as a documentary filmmaker. Angela Sun, a journalist and sportscaster who has been awarded prizes for her work at Santa Clara County California was born on 19 October 1979. She graduated from University of California with a degree in sociology and communications. Sun's surfing abilities were exceptional and she took part in numerous pro-am tournaments. Sun was sponsored by major brands like Roxy Reef Billabong Vans. Recognition through these events was like a rocket that helped her get into the industry of entertainment. In the following years, she was an actress, sportscaster, investigative journalist, and film-director. Sun has been employed by a variety of news channels mainly as anchor. She was a reporter in 2003 as a correspondent with Fox Sports Net. The show she hosted in 2012 was American Ninja Warrior, alongside Matt Iseman. Sun was the host of The Yahoo Sports Minute in 2014. She was the sole Asian-American to appear in the ESPN Fox Sports Yahoo Sports Tennis Channel. Sun's acting abilities have gained her notoriety. Sun has appeared in films like Goliath 2016. (Hit the Floor, 2014-2016), A Perfect Getaway, 2009), Street Kings (2008), Glowsticks and Drumsticks 2004 and Shackled. Sun's 2014 feature length documentary Platic Paradise The Great Pacific Garbage Patch was a film about the effects of pollution caused by plastics on oceans. She created, wrote and directed it herself.
